Bobby Joe Ratliff

Bobby Joe Ratliff, age 59, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 at the Pikeville Nursing and Rehab Center. Bobby was born on January 7, 1962 to his parents the late Arvil Oll Ratliff and Mary Champ Ratliff. He was the husband of Collette Thornbury Ratliff, an employee for Pike County Road Department as a heavy equipment operator before becoming disabled, and he also attended Pikeville Freewill Baptist Church, and a post master Mason for Pikeville Masonic Lodge Thomas C. Cecil F & AM. Along with his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his grandmother, Edith Coleman Ratliff, and his granddad, Jim Ratliff. Along with his wife, Bobby is survived by one son, Scott (Heather) Ratliff, one sister, Beverly Carol Ratliff Thacker, one brother, Shannon Lee Ratliff, two grandchildren, Anna Elise Ratliff, Warren James Ratliff, and a a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jim Patton and Kelly Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
