William Earl Carroll

William Earl Carroll, age 80, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at his home in Mississippi.  William was born on January 3, 1944 to his parents the late Frank Carroll and Cora McCown Caroll.  He was retired from Martahon Oil Refinery where he worked over twenty years and a retired truck driver.

     Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by two daughters, Jennifer Ploger and Loetta Newsome, and one grandson, Dustin Carroll.

     William is survived by two sons, William (Bonnie) Carroll II, Scott Devries, one daughter, Denise, four brothers, John F. (Loretta) Carroll, Jessie J. (Avelene) Carroll, Ferman D. (Paula) Carroll, Randall (Melody) Carroll, five sisters, Jettie L. Johnson, Valerie (James) Rich, Wanda (Roger) Williams, Linda (Bob) Trost, Marsha (Richard) Goodman, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. 

    Visitation will be Saturday at 4p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Sunday, at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Levi Coleman officating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
