Willa "Willie" Nell Bentley

    Willa  "Willie" Nell Bentley, age 89, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024 at her home.  She was born on Nov. 21, 1934 to her parents the late Harvey Allen and Lura Cole Allen.  She was the wife of the late Arlin Bentley, a homemaker, and a member of the Flint Hill Baptist Church in Morganton, Georgia.
     Along with her husband and parents, Willie was preceded in death by one son, Gary Bentley, brothers and sisters, Pauline (Paul) Priest, Clifford (Tip) Allen, Frank (Hank) Allen, Dewey (Pete) Allen, Beulah (Spool) Hooks, Loraine (Tootie) Franklin, Mary (Jacki) Bryson, Baby Charles, and Bonnie Fortenberry.
     Willie is survived by three children, Larry (Sally) Bentley, Stephan Bentley, Janice (David) Bentley Childers, sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss her dearly.
      Visitation will be Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Barry Clark officiating.  Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery at Shelbiana.
