Wanda L. Robinson

Wanda L. Robinson, passed away on June 18, 2026, at Providence Care Center in Ohio. Born June 30, 1942, in Harlan, Kentucky.  Wanda’s 83 years were marked by a quiet strength and a devotion to her family.

Wanda was born in Harlan County, Kentucky.  She grew up with a deep appreciation for the values of hard work, and resilience that she would carry with her throughout her life. 

Wanda was a loving and dedicated mother, sister, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, George Robinson (son), Emma (Jeff) Storer (daughter), Lisa (Terry) Charles (daughter), Truly Keen (daughter), and her sister, Anna Justus.

Family was Wanda’s greatest legacy. She devoted herself to those she loved.  The loss of her husband Monroe Robinson, her daughter, Martha Adkins, and her great-grandson, Jordan Keene, weighed heavily on her heart, as did the passing of one brother and two sisters who preceded her. 

Services to honor Wanda’s life will be held at Lucas & Son Funeral Home, 2931 US Highway 23 S, Pikeville, KY 41501. Visitation will take place on June 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and again on June 28 from 6:15 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on June 29 at 1:00 p.m. with Jimmy Reed Adkins officiating.  Wanda will be laid to rest at Ell Rasnick Cemetery on Wolfpit Branch Road, Pikeville, Kentucky.
