Virginia Newsome

Virginia Daryl Roberts Newsome, age 77, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2022 at the Heritage Center Nursing Home in Huntington, WV. Virginia was born on February 25, 1945 to her parents the late Jeffery Roberts and Anna Forsyth Roberts. She was the wife of the late Preston Newsome, a homemaker, and a believer of the Christian Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Virginia was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Carol Newsome. Virginia is survived by two sons, Michael Alan (Aimei) Newsome, David Preston Newsome, one brother, Steve Roberts, three grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022 from 2P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Departing for cemetery at 4 P.M. Burial will follow at Newsome Cemetery at Penny Road.
