Violet Causey

Violet Electoria (Lec) Causey, age 67, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Violet was born on March 19, 1953 to her mother Violet Dullen. She was the wife of Roy Lesley (Les) Causey, she was a foster parent for 27 years, and a member of the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Violet was preceded in death by one son Lloyd Lesley Causey. Violet is survived by five sons, Bubby James (Brittany) Causey, Ermal (Allison) Causey, Joshua Causey, Jaden Lynville, Jeremiah Lynville, four daughters, Denise (Rodney) Tackett, Jessica Stevens, Katrina Causey, and Danielle Causey, one brother, Dave Mack, five sisters, Debbie Johnson, Elizabeth Meeker, Tammy Selvey, Kimberly Keller, Traci Kimrey, nineteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday night at 7 p.m. The funeral will be Friday February 19, 2021 at 12 noon at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist church ministers and Robert Justice officiating. Burial will follow at the Causey Family Cemetery.
