Violet Meade

Violet Arlene Meade, age 72, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Blount Memorial Hospital in Tennessee. Violet was born on Feb. 19, 1948 to her parents the late Fred Damron and Evelyn Damron. She was the wife of the late Roger Meade and a retired nurse for Pikeville Medical Center. Violet was a member of the House of Prayer and Worship Center, and a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Violet was preceded in death by three sisters, Mable Jean Damron, Helen Marie Potter, and Nella Jo Stiver. Violet is survived by one son, James (Heather) Raucci, two grandchildren, Braxton and Kaden Raucci, three brothers, Herbert Damron, David Gary (Pat) Damron, Harold (Flo) Damron, and special friends, Lois and Joyce, and a host of loving family and friends. There will be a private family funeral.
