Versie Ann McCoy

Versie Ann McCoy, age 40, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 in Freeburn, Ky., at her mother in law's home. Versie was born on July 25, 1981 to her parents Roberta Frazier and Darrell Daniels. She was the wife of Luke McCoy for over twenty years, a custodian at Phelps High School for the Pike County Board of Education, and a believer of the Christian Faith. Versie was preceded in death by her father in law, Verlin McCoy. Along with her husband and parents, Versie is survived by one son, Colton Luke McCoy, one daughter, Hannah Aretha McCoy, two sisters, Delores Daniels, Barbara Daniels, a half sister, Jeanette (Chester) Lester, her mother in law, Betty Jane "Mawsie" Taylor McCoy, and a host of loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Cornerstone Apostolic Church at Jamboree, Ky. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 1p.m. at the Cornerstone Apostolic Church with Richard McKinney, Dennis Land, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Cemetery at Phelps, Ky.
