Trodney Gene Chapman

Trodney Gene Chapman, age 56 of Virgie, Ky., passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Our Lady of the Way Hospital in Martin, Ky. Trodney was born on October 16, 1964 to his parents the Shirley Norman and Roger (Tammy) Chapman. He was former supervisor at Wal-Mart and a believer of the Christian Faith. Trodney was preceded in death by two brothers, Mitchell Chapman and J.R. Chapman. Along with his parents, Trodney is survived by three daughters, Sierra Chapman, Tawayna (Dustin) Ratliff, and Elisha (Jason) Smith, his fiancee' Amanda May, a second Mother, Mommy Jean Hall, two brothers, Rodney (Teresa) Chapman, Trichell (Sabrina) Chapman, seven grandchildren, Adisen Chapman, Ashton McCoy, Alexis Bryant, Kairbella (K.J.) Ratliff, Piper Ratliff, Jayden Smith and Jake Smith, three nieces, Christie, Trenda, Sydney, one nephew, Dustin, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Trey Mouton officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery at Kimper, Ky.
