Thomas Marion Phillips

Thomas Marion Phillips, age 89, of Caney Highway, passed away on May 6, 2023, at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Bobbie Carol Ray Phillips. Thomas was born on May 31, 1933 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was a retired teacher, administrator, and school bus driver for Pike County District, a believer of the Christian Faith, and he also served his country honorably in the United States Army. Along with his wife and parents, Thomas was preceded in death by one sister, Freda Hobbs, two brothers, Lenvil Phillips and Blake Phillips, one grandson, Jered Andrew Phillips, one daughter in law, Angela Phillips. Thomas is survived by two sons, Tommy (Patricia) Phillips, Timothy Phillips, one daughter, Tammie (Sammy) Conatser, one sister, Norma Hicks, four grandchildren, Josh (Lauren) Phillips, Connor Phillips, Jane Phillips, Camron Conatser, one great grandchild on the way, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with James Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery in Shelbiana, Ky
