Terry Lee Compton

Terry Lee Compton, age 74, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Terry was born on Feb. 23, 1948 to his parents the late Ervin Compton and Alice Marie Carter Compton. He was retired from the City of Pikeville, where he worked for over 28 years. He was also a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the City of Pikeville, a life long fan of the U.K. Wildcats, a fan of the New York Yankees, and an avid flea market shopper. Along with his parents, Terry was preceded in death by one sister, Marquette Bryant. Terry is survived by two sons, Kevin Lee Compton, Brian Edward Compton, two sisters, Bonnie Sue Ramey, Kay Freeman, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6pm. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church serivces will be Thursday at 7 p.m. The funeral will be Friday, January 6, 2023 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Billy Compton, Howard Spears, and Brian Compton officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
