Teddy Austin Johnson

     Teddy Austin Johnson, age 72, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Teddy was born on Feb. 25, 1951 to his parents the late Thomas Harrison Johnson and Sylvia Louise Oaks Johnson.  He was the husband of Sharon Gail Miller Johnson, a superintendent for Adams Corporation, and a Deacon at Burdine Freewill Baptist Church.

   Along with his parents, Teddy was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Bruce Johnson.

     Along with his wife, Teddy is survived by two sons, Damian Joseph (Amanda) Johnson, Graham Patrick (Abby) Johnson, one brother, Freddie (Linda) Johnson, Madelyn (Randall) Davis, six grandchildren, Austin Johnson, Delaney Johnson, Aubrey Johnson, Emmy Johnson, Eliza Johnson, Ben Johnson, and a host of loving family and friends.

      Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024 at 6p.m. at the Burdine Freewill Baptist Church.  Church services will be Sunday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Monday,Feb. 19, 2024 at 11 A.m. at the Burdine Freewill Baptist Church with Greg Polly officiating.  Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery at number 1 hill at Burdine, Ky.
