Steven Ferran

Steven W. Ferran, age 71, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Danville, Ky. Steven was born on March 4, 1949 to his parents the late Earl Wayne Ferran and Peal Minaughn Elwell Ferran. He was the husband of Mary E. Franklin Ferran, a retired maintenance man, and a member of the Elkhorn City Baptist Church. He was a member of the F.O.P., VFW, Elkhorn City Fire Department, and he also served his country honorably in the United States Army during Vietnam War. Along with his wife, Steven is survived by two sons, Earl Avery (Lynn) Ferran, Jeremiah "J.J." (Connie) Ferran, one brother, Larry Joe Ferran, five grandsons, Devan, Hunter, Gabe, Jacob, and James Ferran, two great granddaughters, Ivory and Ember Ferran, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Elkhorn City Baptist Church. A vigil will be held at 7p.m. on Thursday at the Church. The funeral will be Friday, Nov. 13, 2020 at 12 noon at the Elkhorn City Baptist Church with Aaron Butler officiating.
