Shelia Burnette

Shelia Kaye Goff Burnette, age 69, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tn.  Shelia was born on August 5, 1949 to her parents the late Rastus Goff and Hazel Mercer Goff.  She was the wife of Sammy Burnette, a retired cashier from Wal Mart, and a member of the Grassy Freewill Baptist Church.      Along with her parents, Shelia was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Goff, and one sister, Phyllis Beck.      Along with her husband, Shelia is survived by two daughters, Angie (Patrick) Lester, Cindy (Johnny) Adkins, two sisters, Sharon Lowe, Karen Bentley, two grandchildren, Jacob Keith Justice, MacKensi Faith Lester, and a host of loving family and friends.      Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Lester Morris and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Mausoleum at Shelbiana, Ky.
