Shannon Porter

Shannon Porter, Age 48, passed away Thursday May 28, 2026 at her residence in Jenkins, Ky. Shannon was born April 15, 1978, in Wilmington, Delaware, to the late Clifford Eugene Oakes and Thedda Ratliff-Oakes. Shannon was preceded in death by her husband, James Porter.  She was survived by one son, Tyler Oakes, her mother, Thedda Oakes, one brother, Kim Dwayne Oakes, one sister, Sherry (Ross) DeStafeno, and a host of loving family and friends.

There will be a memorial service scheduled at a later date.
