Ron Newsome

Ron Newsome, age 65, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, formerly of Pikeville, Ky. passed away at his home on August 10, 2021. Ron was born in Pike County, Ky., on January 17, 1956, to his parents the late Corbet Newsome and Willys Ray "Bowling" Newsome. Ron was a believer of the Baptist Faith, he was a retired employee of Lowes. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Tyler Newsome, two brothers, Danny Newsome, Donnie Newsome, two sisters, Anne Newsome and Margie Newsome Johnson. He is survived by a son, Tanner Newsome, the love of his life Lisa Arnold. He is survived by two brothers, Randy (Mischele) Newsome of Pikeville; Corbet DeWayne (Melinda) Newsome of Pikeville; three sisters, Virginia Sue (Richard) Addington of Fortworth, Texas, Karen Newsome of Caney Highway, Pikeville, Ky; Darlene (Ricky) Potter of Rockhouse Caney, Pikeville, Ky. and a host of loving family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
