Rodney Damron, a beloved father, son, brother and friend to many passed from this life on Saturday April 20, 2024 at his home in Seymour, TN. He was 57 years old, born on July 17, 1966 in Pike County, KY to the late George Damron, Jr and Lillian Carol Damron. Rodney leaves behind his loving children Taylor Ryan Damron, LaDonna Carol Damron, Tyler (Holly) Mullins, Brandon Burchett, Zach McClain and Austin Mullins along with 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father George Damron, Jr and brother Donald Jack Damron. In addition to his children, he is survived by his mother Lillian Carol Damron, 2 brothers Kenneth Ray Damron and Craig (Melinda) Damron, 1 sister Angela Damron Slone and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He proudly served his country as a member of The United States Air Force. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and American Pool players Association participating in 8 Ball and 9 Ball Teams. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and computer networking.
Funeral services will be held at Lucas and Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 24th and Thursday April 25th from 6:00-10:00 pm for family and friends with services beginning at 7:00 pm and Friday April 26th at 12:00 pm with burial immediately following at Annie E. Young Cemetery. Services provided by Blessed Hope Freewill Baptist Church with Tommy England and others officiating along with special singers.
