Robert Edgar Mullins

Robert Edgar Mullins, age 79, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019 at his home.  Robert was born on Nov. 14, 1939 to his parents the late Dewey Mullins and Edna Mullins.  He was the husband of Flora Mullins, and a retired construction worker.      Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by five brothers, Paul Mullins, Ted Mullins, Buford Mullins, Normal (Bug) Mullins, and Kell Mullins, and two sisters, Evaline and Lorine.     Along with his wife, Robert is survived by two sons, Robert E. (Teresa) Mullins Jr., Phillip Wayne (Alley) Mullins, one daughter, Debra (John) Bailey, nine grandchildren, Robert E. Mullins III, Samantha Mullins, Sean Bailey, Matthew Bailey, Kelisha, Cara, Clarissa, Marissa, and Blake,  two great grandchildren, Gabriel Mullins, Jaxson Mullins, two brothers, Bob Mullins, Carvel Mullins, three sisters, Linda, Imajean, Freeda,  and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Saturday at 5p.m. at Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church.  Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019 at 10a.m. at the Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Jimmy Kerr and Chris Bartley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ratliff Cemetery at Poor Bottom
