Ricky Chaney, 69, of Millard KY, passed away May 26, 2026. Ricky was born July 22,, 1957 to the late Gaylord Chaney and Mary Thacker Chaney. Ricky is also preceded in death by Two sons: Ricky Chaney Jr. and William Chaney, Five brothers: Tony Chaney, Harold Chaney, John Chaney, Ralph Chaney (Infant), Daryl Chaney (Infant); One sister, Elizabeth Chaney Hilton.
Ricky is survived by his wife; Lisa Clayton Chaney; Three sisters: Lois (Ralph) Tackett, Rhonda Brewer, Vonda Gibson; One Brother, Craig (Denise) Chaney. Four grandchildren: Mashaya (Kolt)Chaney Robinson, Cameron Chaney, Destiny Chaney and One Great Grandchild, TempestRain Robinson.
Ricky was a retired coal miner at Old South Mining Endura Coal Company
Visitation will be held at Lucas and Son Tuesday June 2, 2026 from 5-7 with special services starting at 7. Funeral service will be Wednesday June 3, 2026 at 12. Joey Sussan will be officiating from Wolfpit Community Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Annie E. Young Cemetery Shelbiana, Kentucky
