Richard Dale Thacker

 Richard Dale Thacker,age 59, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at his home.  Richard was born on June 23, 1964 to his parents the late Jewette Thacker and Vicy Dales Thacker.  He was a retired general laborer in the construction business and a believer of the old Regular Baptist Faith.

    Along with his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Thacker, four sisters, Juanita Harmon, Lorell Thacker, Ruby Thacker, and Teresa Griggs.

     Richard is survived by one son, Dalton Thacker, one sister, Pauline Huffman, four brothers, Phillip Paul Thacker, Jewette Reid Thacker, Leon Thacker, Eddie Dean Thacker, and a host of loving family and friends.

     A memorial service will be Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.
