Reathie Gillespie

Reathie Gillespie, age 76, of Pikeville, Ky, passed away at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Ky, on February 25, 2021. Reathie was born in Pike County, Ky. on February 10, 1945, to her parents the late Jody Hall and Hilzie Justice Hall. Reathie Gillespie was the wife of the late Otto Gillespie. She was employed with the Pike County Board of Education where she worked as a teachers' aide until her retirement. Reathie was a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Church faith. Reathie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one son Jeffery Dale Gillespie. Reathie is survived by one son, Reedy Gillespie (Shirley), two daughters, Teresa Compton (Ronny), Reable Gillespie (Aaron). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Eric Gillespie (Kim), Casey Thacker (Dave), Joshua Gillespie (Tiffany), Sasha Gillespie, Matthew Justice, Adia Lena Gillespie, Austin Robinson, Braden Robinson, Josie Robinson, Sadie Robinson and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, March 1, 2021, 6:00 PM at the Greasy Creek Old Regular Baptist Church located on Greasy Creek. Church services will be held both Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM Funeral services will be March 3, 2021, 12:00 Noon at the Greasy Creek Old Regular Baptist Church.
