Ray Wright

Ray Wright, age 79, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021, at the Advent Health in Manchester, Ky. Ray was born on March 25, 1942 to his parents the late James Wright and Pearlie Little Wright. He was a retired laborer for different plants in Michigan such as Faygo, and a believer of the Christian Faith. He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Along with his parents, Ray was preceded in death by seven brothers, Creighton, Gareth, Bobby Chris, William, Joey, Grover, and Randall Wright, and one sister, Rita Wright. Ray is survived by one daughter, Sharon (Michael) Lester, two grandsons, Christopher and Austin Lester, one sister, Freda Gibson, four brothers, Corky Wright, Stevie Wright, Barry Wright, Herb Wright, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Greg White officiating. Burial will follow in the James Wright Memorial Garden at Liittle Robinson Creek of Virgie.
