Randy Smallwood

Randy Smallwood, 71 years old of Dorton,Ky. Passed away on August 2, 2026. Randy was born on January 19, 1955, to the late Homer Smallwood Sr. And late Bernice Cable Smallwood. Randy was a proud United States Navy Veteran, He served for 7 years and won numerous medals of honor during that time as he sailed around the world serving the country he loved and was so proud of. Randy also had a psychology degree and worked as a children’s counselor in Melbourne, Florida until he retired. His favorite title of all was being a father to Thomas (Tj) Smallwood and Grampa to Zayvier Joseph Smallwood which was known as Zavvi to Grampa. Randy is survived by his brother Homer (Bimbo) Smallwood and sister Debra Wright along with a host of nieces and nephews. Randy loved his family and friends fiercely and will be missed by all who knew him.
