Peggy Von Boggs

Peggy Von Boggs, age 84, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Peggy was born on January 2, 1938 to her parents the late Wilmoth Vick and Dixie Mae Williams Vick. She was the wife of the late Lenville Boggs, a member of the Eastern Star, retired lunchroom manager for Pikeville Independent School District, and a member of the Blessed Hope Freewill Baptist Church. Peggy is survived by one son, Michael (Gaila) Boggs, two daughters, Myria (Fonso) Fields, Miranda (Josh Collins) Thacker, six grandchildren, Tim Champlin, Sara Sands, Jimmie Boggs, Jon Boggs, Katlin Bentley, Madison Thacker, eleven great grandchildren, Kolton, Aaliyah, Corbin, Jonathan, Kynlee, Cason, Ava, Rylee, Jackson, Addelyn, Matt, Luke, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 1P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Morgan Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
