Patricia Ann Chaney

Patricia Ann Chaney, Age 92, passed away Tuesday May 5, 2026, at her residence. Patricia was born on February 4, 1934, to the late Alvey and Opal Adkins-Coleman.  She was a retired postmaster at the Nelse, Ky post office, and a believer of the Southern Baptist faith, besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitte Chaney.  She is survived by one son, Randy (Lisa) Chaney, one daughter, Judy Lynn (Jeff) Meek, one sister, Emaglea Morre, two grandchildren, Brittany (Josh) Anders, Brooke (Tyler) Ratliff, three great grandchildren, Kendall Ryan, Alasondra Ryan, and Emmett Nash Bentley, a special caretaker Robin Philene Adkins. Also, a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday May 8, 2026, 6pm, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, service will begin at 7pm with Bro. Eric Bartley officiating, funeral will be held Saturday May 9, 2026, 1pm, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with Bro. Eric Bartley officiating.  Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young cemetery.
