Palmer Lloyd Ray

Palmer Lloyd Ray, age 74, of Panther Branch Road Varney, Ky., passed away January 10, 2022 at Wolf Branch Road. Palmer was the son of the late Amos and Gladys Hinkle Ray. He was born on June 17, 1947. Palmer was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Freddie Ray, Willie Lee Ray, and one sister, Teresa Diane Ray. Palmer is survived by one daughter, Pamela Diamond, two sisters, Palestine (the late Gordon Lee) Thomas, Sheila (Charles Steele) Ray, one brother, Fabian Keith Ray, one grandson, Greg Morrison, two special nephews, Ritchie Robinson and Logan Bartley, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dale Williamson, Gary Young, and others officiating. Burial will follow in Ray Cemetery at Ray Branch of Varney, Ky.
