Osie Jane Young

    Osie Jane Young, age 80, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at her home.  Osie was born on October 14, 1938 to her parents the late O.D. Roosevelt Prater and Druse Estella Lockhart Prater.  She was the wife of the late Arlie Young Jr., a homemaker, and a believer of the Church of God Faith.      Along with her husband and parents, Osie was preceded in death by two daughters, Arlene Young and Deborah Kaye Young, and several brothers and sisters.     Osie is survived by one daughter, Stella May, four sons, Roosevelt "Theodore" Prater, Michael Eugene Young, Obie (Margaret) Young, Gary Young, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m.  at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery at Weeksbury, Ky.
