Orlee Mullins

Orlee Mullins, age 89, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at her home in Candler, North Carolina formerly of Pike County, Ky. Orlee was born on July 20, 1934, in Pike County, Kentucky to her parents the late Baxter Bartley and Bessie Martin Bartley. Orlee was the wife of the late Jerry Mullins and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist Faith. Orlee was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother-in-law, Harold Belcher, a sister-in-law, Teresa Bartley, two brothers, Curtis Bartley, and Delbert Bartley. Orlee is survived by her three sons, Charles (Beatrice Sue) Mullins, Harry (Marilyn) Mullins, Steve (Tammy) Mullins, and a daughter, Joann (James) Swiney. She is also survived by five brothers, Earl Bartley, Thomas (Mary) Bartley, Dewey (Barb) Bartley, Phillip (Janie) Bartley, Elster Ray Bartley, two sisters, Beatrice Belcher and Dorothy Waller. She is survived by ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild on the way and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 5:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with church services at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be Monday, October 23, 2023, at 12:00 Noon, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Bill Conley and Johnny Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery at Draffin, KY.
