Monty Hale Baldridge, Age 77, passed away, Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Pikeville Medical Center, Monty was born to the late Homer and Norma Jean Rose-Baldridge on December 10, 1948.  Monty proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, after the Marines, Monty was a coal miner until he retired. Monty was also a devoted member of the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Church of Hellier, Ky.

Monty is survived by his wife Tonie Baldridge, a daughter, Amanda Baldridge-Piispanen, one brother, Melvin Baldridge, four sisters, Susan Trivette, Gloria Murphy, Jeannie Prater, Linda Horne, two grandchildren, Brooke Howard and Bethany Baldridge.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Vivian Newsome, one niece, Christie Renae Trivette, three nephews, Darren Gene Newsome, Earnest Ray Baldridge, and Jerry Wayne Newsome.

Visitation for Monty will be Thursday, Feburary 12,2026 at the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Church, with service starting at 7pm, with the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating.  The funeral will be Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1 P.M, at the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Church cemetery at Hellier, Ky.
