Mary Davis

Mary Louise Martin Davis, age 81, passed away on July 26, 2020, at the Parkview Nursing Home. Mary was born on August 10, 1938 to her parents the late Seward Butch Martin and Beatrice Fields Martin. She was the wife of the late Freddie "Gene" Davis, a devout christian, and a mother and homemaker. Along with her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by one daughter, Ninta Louise Davis Harper, one son, William Butch Davis, and one brother, Fred Martin. Mary is survived by one daughter, Rita (Darrin) Compton of Pikeville, two sisters, Audrey Martin Henderson of Texarkana, Texas, Betty Martin Rowe of Pikeville, one sister in law, Janet Martin of Robinson Creek, six grandchildren, Joshua Ryan Mullins, Kevin (Andrea) Harper, and Steven (Kenenna) Harper all of Robinson Creek, Ky., Chasity Compton Newsom of Pikeville, MaKayla (Joseph) Compton Skeans of Richmond, Ky., Christa (Justin) Compton Baker of Ivel, Ky., eleven great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday July 29, 2020 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Bruce Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
