Mary Ann Chaney

Mary Ann Chaney, age 41, passed away August 5, 2021, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Mary was born on July 2, 1980 to her parents the late Champion Chaney and Earmelene Layne Chaney. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by three brothers, David Lee, Richard, and James Chaney, and one niece, Cynthia Chaney. Mary is survived by three brothers, Champ (Melonie) Chaney, Lonzo Chaney, Herbie Chaney, one sister, Clara (Kevin) Griffey, and a host of loving family and friends. She will be missed greatly. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Shannon Bryant and Keith Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Chaney Cemetery at Raccoon, Ky.
