Mary Lou Bowling

Mary Lou Bowling, age 84, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at her home.  She was born on March 13, 1935 to her parents the late Rufus Dew Anderson and Mellie Elizabeth Anderson.   She was the wife of the late Harold Douglas Bowling, a retired bank teller for BB&T Bank, and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.     Along with her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, James Garnet Anderson and Gordon Anderson.      Mary is survived by one son, Steve (Gena) Bowling, one daughter, Diana Rose (Elgin) Lawill, three grandchildren, Rachel Hall, Zachery Bowling, Joshua Bowling, three great grandchildren, Chase Hall, Ally Hall, Lexi Hall, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Friday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Dale Sanders, James Tackett, and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana.
