Marvella Hamilton

July 17, 1949 — August 15, 2020

Marvella Hamilton age 71 of Floyd County, passed away Saturday at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on July 17, 1949 to her parents the late Kaminski Kiser and Imalene Coleman Kiser. Marvella was the wife of the late Phillip Hamilton, a homemaker, and a member of the Virgie Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Marvella was preceded in death by one brother, Orville Kiser. Marvella is survived by one daughter, Tabitha Ann (Chris) Hopkins of Tram, Ky., one brother, Ronnie Kiser of Flaherty, Ky., one sister, Sandra Bullard of Detroit, Mi., three grandsons, Matthew Tyler (Shantana) McCary, Leonard Shane (Brittany) McCary, Austin Blake (Kayla) Hall, two great grandchildren, Mitchell Singleton and Brooklyn Isabella Hall, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 1p.m. at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Jimmy Jack Adkins and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopkins Cemetery at Greasy Creek.
