Martha Kendrick Gannon

Martha Kendrick-Gannon, passed away, Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at the Elkhorn Health and Rehabilitation facility in Elkhorn City, Ky. Martha was born September 7, 1953 to the late Nathaniel and Jettie Kendrick-Kendrick.  Martha was a retired Kindergarten Teachers Aide for the Pike County Board of Education, and a believer of the Primitive Baptist faith, she was the wife of over 40 years to her loving husband, McKinley Gary Gannon.  Besides her parents, Martha was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Luster and Cinda Slone, four brothers, William Kendrick, George Kendrick, Bobby Kendrick and Lawrence Kendrick.

Besides her husband, Martha is survived by two sisters, Stella K Marcum of Pikeville, Ky and Jackie Rowe of Pikeville, Ky.

Visitation will be Friday, 6pm, at the Lucas and Son Funeral home with service starting at 7pm with Bro. David Thacker and others officiating.  The Funeral will be held Saturday, 1pm, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with Bro. David Thacker and others officiating.  Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young cemetery at Shelbina, Ky.
