Martha Lea Adkins

Martha Lea Adkins, age 89, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at her home. Martha Lea was born on Feb. 2, 1934 to her parents the late Gallie Roosevelt Mullins and Myrtle Osborne Mullins. She was the wife of the late Blaine Adkins Jr., and a homemaker. Along with her husband and parents, Martha Lea was preceded in death by her first husband, Curt Branham, one son, Larry "Bo" Branham, one granddaughter, Penny Helton, six siblings, Chester Mullins, Hazel Vanover, Virgil Mullins, Ira Mullins, Adaree Estep, and Elster Mullins. Martha is survived by three daughters, Anna Jean (Bob) Morrow, Debbie (Eddie) Smith, Peggy (Gregory) Elswick, three sisters, Betty Roberts, Shirley Mullins, Melster Roberts, eight grandchildren, Larra Leigh, Lanna, Misty, Kandy, Sara, Julie, Seth, Heath, seventeen great grandchildren, Robbie, Sydney, Paydi, Luke, Albany, Kourtlie, Kammie, J.D., Connor, Jenna Bo, McKenna Jo, Gavin, Hayden, Russ, Noah, Ellie, Abe, two great great grandchildren, Saylor, Dennis "Bubba", and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, April, 23, 2023 at 2 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Burnin White, Dave Hammond, Nick Baldridge, and Robbie Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Garden at Ivel.
