Margrene Newsome

Margrene Newsome, age 75, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019, at the UK Hospice of the Bluegrass in Lexington, Ky. Margrene was born in Pike County, Ky on October 2, 1944 to her parents the late Mack Kidd, Jr. and America Kidd. She was a homemaker and of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Newsome, her parents, one brother, Calip Lee Kidd. She is survived by three sons, Mack Newsome (Michelle), Jonathan Newsome (Angelia), Randy Newsome (Sabrina); one daughter, Kim Phillips (Jason). She is survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2019, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, December 27, 2019, 2:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist officiating. Burial will follow in the Kidd Family Cemetery at Little Mud Creek.
