Margaret May Scalf

Margaret May Scalf, age 89, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at her home. Margaret was born on May 3, 1931 to her parents the late Luke Slone and Gladys Salyer Slone. She was the wife of the late John Scalf, a retired clerk for G.C. Murphy in Pikeville, and a member of the Ford's Branch Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Francis Kinder. Margaret is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Gary) Little, Denise (Eric) Thomas, one sister, Imel Little, two step grandchildren, Cory and Joe Little, three step great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 5p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Mike Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
