Marcella Adkins Bentley

Marcella "Adkins" Bentley, age 87, passed away on July 15, 2021, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center, Hazard, Ky. Marcella was born in Pike County, Ky. on October 8, 1933, to her parents the late Isaac Adkins and Grace Vanover Adkins. Marcella was the wife of the late Paris L. Bentley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Little Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons Paris R. Bentley, Howard D. Bentley, two daughters, Sandy Bentley, Sheila Bentley, five brothers, and one sister. She is survived by two daughters, Angela Tussey, (Brian), Patricia Phelps (Phil) and seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, July 18, 2021, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Services both Sunday and Monday nights at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Teddy Honaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery on Greasy Creek, Shelbiana, Ky.
