Mabel Coleman

Mabel Coleman, age 77, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at her residence.  Mabel was born on May 6, 1946 to her parents the late Thomas Robinson and Alice Riley Robinson.  She retired from the U.S. Postal Service as Post Master, and a believer of the Christian faith.

Along with her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by her husband Randy Coleman, three brothers, John L. Robinson, Don Robinson, Andy Robinson, two sisters, Ruthie Duncan and Helena Robinson.

Mabel is survived by one daughter, Debra Coleman, one son, Steve Coleman (Tiffani), three brothers, Bill Robinson (Linda), Abe Robinson (Ruby), Burlin Robinson (Carolyn), two sisters, Sarah Mitchell, Joyce Robinson (Michael), eight grandchildren, Bethany Meeks, Sullivan Derrick Cole, Emilee Meeks, Katie Ward (Chris), Makayla Coleman, Isaiah Coleman, Peyton Coleman, Bella Coleman,   one great-grandchild, Jackson Meeks, and  a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday Dec. 31, 2023 at 6 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with church services Sunday and Monday evening beginning  at 7 PM .   The funeral will be January 2, 2024 at 1p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist church ministers officiating.  Burial will follow at the New Thomas W. Robinson Family Cemetery.
