Lynda Ramsey Adkins

Lynda Ramsey Adkins age 77 of Ivel, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, February 05, 2026, at the ARH Our Lady of the Way Hospital in Martin, Kentucky.

She was born on July 21, 1948 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Fred and Eunice Damron Ramsey.

Lynda was a retired floor manager for K-Mart Department Store and a devoted member of the Elizabeth Old Regular Baptist Church at Fords Branch, Kentucky.

Along with her parents, Lynda was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Terri Hyden Adkins.

She is survived by her loving husband Arnold Adkins; one son, Kelly Adkins (Tami Overmyer); one daughter, Denise Denison (Robert); one brother, Jack Ramsey (Lea); four grandsons: Robert Denison (Mya Lee), Matthew Denison (Teagan Adkins), Jacob Denison (Katelyn Bezzo), Connor Adkins (Avery Lee); one great-granddaughter, Lillian Marie Denison and host of loving friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. February 10, 2026 at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with special services Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.

The burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery at Yeager, Kentucky
