Lucy Jane Stanley

Lucy Jane Stanley, 72 years of age passed peacefully at her residence in Pound, VA on May 28, 2026.

She was the daughter of the late Chester Thompson and Kathrene (Smith) Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Stanley Sr., Three brothers:  Bobby Thompson, Ronnie "Joe" Thompson, and Paul Edward Thompson, Four sisters: Ernastine Baker, Peggy Sue Furr, Linda Statzer, and Evalyn Wilson.

Lucy Is survived by Two Sons: Kenneth Stanley Jr. (Dusty), Chad Stanley, One brother Floyd Thompson (Nancy), and one sister Anna Mae Roberts, Two grandchildren: Tyler (Cortney) Stanley, Gracen Stanley, and one great grandson Graham Stanley. Lucy is also survived by two special friends: Dora Farley, and Zelma Wright.

Lucy was a friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her closest friends and family

Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
