Lucy E Robinette

Lucy E. Robinette, born on May 27, 1935, passed away on September 29, 2026. She will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family whose lives were shaped by her presence.

Lucy’s life was deeply rooted in family. She was the mother of Ronald Robinette and his wife, Priscilla, Linda Robinette and Tom Reed, and Bertha Jean Reed and Danny Reed. She was also a cherished grandmother to Angie Zornes, Kim Young, Jennifer Rollins, Terry Reed Jr., Ronald Robinette Jr., Josh Robinette, Logan Demurray, and Kaylee Taylor. Through each generation, her family carried forward the bonds of love and connection that meant so much to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Robinette; her son, Condar Lee Robinette; her father, Alfred Young; her mother, Betty Thompson Young; her brothers, James Malcom Young, Alfred Young Jr., Harmon Young, Buddy Lee Young, and Curtis Young; and her sisters, Bronis Young and Christine McGuire.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30 , 2026, after 6 PM at the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 am at the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Robinette Cemetery at Varney, KY.

Special services will be held on Wednesday at 7 PM.

Lucy’s memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, extended family, and all who were blessed to share in her life. She leaves behind a family circle that stands as a lasting tribute to the love she gave and the place she held in their lives.
