Lois Pennington

Lois Chapman Pennington, age 97, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Laurel Heights Nursing Home in London, Ky. Lois was born on April 15, 1925 to her parents the late Merritt Williams and Pearl Litteral Williams. She was the wife of the late Bill Chapman, owner of Chapman Grocery on Kimper, and a member of the Calvary Primitive Baptist Church of Kimper. Along with her husband and parents, Lois was preceded in death by her second husband, Orville Pennington, and one son, Billy Rondal Chapman. Lois is survived by four sons, Gary (Vonda) Chapman, Duke (Debbie) Chapman, Ricky Chapman, Billy Darrell Chapman, one daughter, Botema (Larry) May, one brother, Ike Williams, two sisters, Anna L. Farmer, Barbie Reed, fourteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Primitive Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapman Family Cemetery at Sunshine Lane of Kimper.
