Lois L. Damron

Lois L. Damron 79 of Georgetown, KY, passed away from this earth on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at University of Kentucky Hospital with her daughter by her side.

She was born at Rockhouse, KY., November 24, 1946, daughter and youngest of eleven children of the late Arthur and Mary Holland Coleman. She was retired from Community Trust Bank, where she worked for 50 years. She was also a member of the Unity Freewill Baptist Church of Rockhouse, KY.

In addition to her parents, she was also proceeded in death by her beloved son, Brian Keith Damron, five brothers:  Elmer Coleman, Kermit Coleman, Blake Coleman, Clifford Coleman, and Carl Coleman, four sisters: Ollie Harmon, Rebie Adkins, Magelene Phipps, and Geraldine Phipps.

She is survived by her daughter Jessica (Mark) Brown of Georgetown, KY., the two loves of her life, her grandchildren, Bryce and Kylie Brown., one sister, Lavern Coleman of Rockhouse, KY., two very special nephews, that were more like her brothers, Larry (Ruth) Phipps, and Gary (Vonda) Phipps of Rockhouse, KY., and a host of family and friends that will miss her.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM, at Lucas & Son Funeral Home, The Funeral will be Wednesday, September 23,2026, at 1:00 PM, at Lucas & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at Arthur and Mary Coleman Cemetery at Rockhouse, KY.
