Lloyd David Charles

Lloyd David Charles, age 77, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at his home in Pikeville, Ky. Lloyd was born May 6, 1949, to the late Grover and Anna Mae Carnes-Charles. Lloyd was a retired diesel mechanic, and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Besides his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Charles. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Patty Burke- Charles, two daughters, Angie (Dwayne) Jarvis, Kim (Greg) Staton, Five Grandchildren, Lisa Jarvis, Lisha Baird, Tierra Springer, Ally Staton, Zack Staton and Six Great Grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 16, 2026, 6pm, and Wednesday 6pm, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with church services Wednesday night, and the funeral will be held June 18,2026, 12noon, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Dale Williamson officiating. Burial will be held at the Justice-Kinder Cemetery of upper chole creek.
