Linda Gail Adkins, age 69 of Shelbina, Ky, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Pikeville Medical Center.  She was born on November 5, 1956, to the late Ada (Ted) Williams-Tackett, her grandparents, Vannie and Claude Williams also helped raise Linda. She was a retired telemetry tech at Pikeville Medical Center, a caretaker to many, and a proud member of the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

Besides her mother and grandparents, Linda was preceded in death by her late husband Barry Wayne Adkins, and many other loved ones, family and friends.  Linda is survived by two sons, Roger (Crystal) Keene and Steven (Stacy) Lee Keene, twelve grandchildren, Michael (Janesha), Shae (Duyane), Jarred, Jordan, Jaden, Haylee, Braydyn, Christian, Cameron, Gabriel, Cayson, Cruize, Five great grandchildren, Bryson, Brooklyn, Jayce, Jaxton, and Trevor.

Linda was loved so dearly by her family and many close friends. Her love and the family's memories with her will forever live on, and she will be sorely missed by all those that adored her.

Visitation will start at 6pm for the public Wednesday February 11, 2026 at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church, services will start Wednesday and Thursday night at 7pm with the Greasy Freewill Baptist Church ministers officiating.  The funeral will be Friday February 13, 2026 at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church at 12 Noon, Burial will follow at the Duran Adkins cemetery for the immediate family (children and grandchildren) and church family members only.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Lucas and Son Funeral Home.
