Komas Donnie Bryant

Komas Donnie Bryant age 71, passed away Thursday Sept. 22, 2022 at his home in Bean Station, Tn. Donnie was born on May 28, 1951, in Letcher County, Kentucky, to his parents, Esther "Sanders" Bryant and the late Alfred Bryant. Donnie was a coalminer for over thirty years. Donnie was a member and minister for over twenty years at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church and also served a brief Pastorship. Donnie was the husband of Charlotte Bryant. Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Bryant, Jr., maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents and a special nephew Justin Bryant. Donnie is survived by his wife, Charlotte, two sons, Komas Donnie Bryant, Jr. Wesley (Alexis) Bryant, two daughters, Francine (Ted) Clark, and Khristina (Jerry Thacker) Bryant. Donnie is survived by three brothers Alfred R. (Karen) Bryant, Connie (Janet) Bryant, Tony (Sandy) Bryant, a sister, Edie (Terry) Fleming. Survived by sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, his special dog Bruno and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 6:00 PM at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 6:00 PM with services each night. Funeral will be Monday, September 26, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church with the Old Regular Ministers and Richard Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Helton Family Cemetery located on Elkhorn Creek.
