Kelly Dean Thacker

Kelly Dean Thacker, 58, of Bradenton, Florida, formally of Pikeville, Kentucky, passed away on January 29, 2026, at Manatee Memorial Hospital. 

He leaves behind his wife, Heather Thacker, alongside his children Daniel (Kristi) Thacker, Samuel Thacker, and Emma Thacker, Gary (Kerelys) Thacker, Joseph Thacker and Kaitlyn (Josh) Billiter. Kelly also leaves behind his siblings, Donald (Mary) Hall, Brian (Shannon) Ross, and sister Vickie Ross; along with step sisters, Debbie and Tonya Goble, and step brothers, Ronnie and Jeffrey Thacker. Kelly was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren. Kelly is also survived by his step father, Jimmy Goble

Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Thacker, and his mother, Emma Goble, his step sister, Donna Goble; as well as his sister-in-law, Tina Ross.

A visitation to celebrate Kelly’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Lucas & Son Funeral Home, located at 2931 US Highway 23 S in Pikeville, Kentucky. A funeral service will follow the next day, Thursday, February 12, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM at Lucas & Son Funeral Home, with burial following in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
