Kathleen Tackett

     Kathleen Tackett, age 96, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Kathleen was born on October 15, 1927 to her parents the late Fred Ratliff and Ella Owens Ratliff.  She was the wife of the late Howard Lee Tackett, a homemaker, and a member of Lick Creek In the Name of the Lord in Jesus Church.

      In addition to her husband and parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by one son, Lannie Tackett, and two brothers, Fred (Teko) Ratliff and Paulie Ratliff.

      Kathleen is survived by one sister, "Poochie" Pauline (Jerry) Daniels, one granddaughter, Stacey Lea Tackett, two great grandchildren, Sheridan Grace and Kash, special niece and caretaker, Debbie (Kevin) Ratliff, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss her dearly.

     Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 2 P.M. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Richard McKinney, Ray Sawyers, and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery at Draffin, Ky.
