Joyce Ann Hall, of Grethel, Kentucky, a beloved homemaker and cherished member of the Pikeville community, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Born on December 13, 1946, in Pikeville, Kentucky, Joyce dedicated her life to her family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion.
Joyce is survived by her son Jody Hall and his wife Anita; her daughter Angie Sparks and her husband Greg; her brother Johnny Cole; and her treasured grandchildren, including Madison Williams, McKenzie Hall, Aariana Sparks, Colin Hall, Nicholas Hall, and Nathaniel Justice. Additionally, she is blessed with two great-grandchildren, Nash Williams and Knox Williams, who brought her immeasurable joy.
Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis Hall; her father, Frank Phillips; her mother, Tilda Hughes Cole; and her siblings: brothers James Bubby Phillips and Mike Phillips, along with sisters Phoebe Luster and Loraine Billiter. These losses are felt deeply by her family, who will carry her memory with them always.
The community is invited to celebrate Joyce's life during a visitation at Lucas & Son Funeral Home in Pikeville, KY, on Friday September 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Funeral services will be Saturday , September 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with the burial to follow at the Adkins Cemetery, Grethel, Kentucky
